Things I loved in 2023

2023 was a special year. The highlight, by far, was getting engaged to my incredible partner. It happened at our favourite winter cabin in the middle of nowhere. It was joyful and perfect. Planning our wedding has been equally wonderful, thanks to a good friend’s recommendation to read Priya Parker’s The Art of Gathering.

In April, I travelled overseas for the first time since 2020, to bomb around Greece. Another highlight was a family-packed trip from Vancouver Island through to the Rockies that left me feeling so loved.

My main goal was to improve my French; I moved up two levels at work! It was also a year of athletic growth, taking swimming lessons, learning how to double pole and finally getting back to weight training. Here were a few of my favourite things:
